In our essay we shall talk about the title of this magnificent book by Harper Lee. We have several reasons for choosing To Kill a Mockingbird as our main topic. Firstly, the title seems so obscure and mysterious that we just had to find some form of explanation. Secondly, mockingbirds have quite an important rôle in this story.

In addition to the main topic, there are some other small themes we shall discuss which we found to have a certain connection with the main topic.
